Original Battlestar Galactica TV Series Intro

Probably one of my most favorite television shows of all-time. Everything about this show spoke towards the hope for all humankind, even in the most darkest of times. It is something that seems to have been forgotten or ignored in the new Battlestar Galactica series, much like it is forgotten or ignored by most people in real life today, which is why it probably doesn't resonate with me like the original does (and always will).

I'd forgotten that "John Steed" did the intro. You are right that a positive future has more appeal. At the time, I think I've seen that done to the point that the future is too perfect, too lacking in conflict to be interesting. I've only seen one episode of the Galactica, and I wasn't too impressed. It might have been because the series was too dark ... or maybe it's because I was watching episode 15 or so and I didn't know what was going on.
